I also checked the retry and IMap hypotheses. The blocked thread never gets far enough to reach the retry logic, and it is blocked on a normal Java monitor rather than an IMap operation. The part I couldn't determine from the dump is why the expected BlockingWorker never starts / why startedLatch is never released. I haven't changed any production code or opened a PR yet.
