The CI failure on the last push (`4501a1606a`) wasn't caused by anything in
this PR — `dev` itself was broken at the exact commit this branch had merged
(`406c66789e`): `JobStateEventTest` referenced an undefined
`FAILED_JOB_EVENT_TIMEOUT_SECONDS` constant, breaking the
`seatunnel-engine-server` test-compile and, with it, every downstream job in
the reactor (that's why unit-test failed on all four OS/JDK combinations and
every single IT shard failed identically).

   apache/seatunnel#11954 fixed it upstream at 2026-08-24 11:50 UTC. Re-merged
current `dev` to pull that in — clean merge, no conflicts, Spotless still
clean. Fresh CI running on the new head.
