Thanks @SEZ9. Status update on the CI blocker: the dead-link fix (#12639) is now on dev, and I have merged current dev into this branch (new head `b00c3e0cdad`, behind dev by 0). The fork Build will run on that head, and this time the Dead links gate should no longer short-circuit the test jobs. I will post the executed result for `ManagedSourceRegisterOperationSerializationTest` (including `testMismatchedReaderLocationTypeIsRejected`) here once the run completes. I have not run the tests locally, so there is still no executed evidence until then. The tracking issue for the untyped `readObject()` calls in `AssignSplitOperation` / `TaskOperation` is still owed and I will link it before asking for merge. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
