Just to clarify the context behind the target branch: this PR was opened specifically as a backport for #9583, following the earlier discussion in that issue. In particular, @SEZ9 previously suggested that a minimal backport based on `2.3.13-release` would be appropriate: https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/issues/9583#issuecomment-6008428831 Since the guard is already present in `dev` and v3.0.0, the purpose of this PR is to bring the existing fix to the affected 2.3.x line. Based on that guidance, I prepared the minimal backport and added regression tests, confirming that both tests fail without the guard and pass with it. I understand the concern about targeting an already released branch. Could a committer clarify whether the 2.3.x line is still accepting bug fixes, and whether `2.3.13-release` is the appropriate target for this backport?
