Thanks for the detailed report and for confirming the behavior against PostgreSQL 17 and 13. Since you've already identified the root cause in `microsecondsToIntervalFormatVal()` and are willing to contribute, a PR with the signed days plus fractional-seconds formatting, the extended converter unit tests, and the `JdbcPostgresIT` cases would be welcome. Please link it to this issue.
