@DanielLeens, Actions is enabled and the requested [Build on
`4054727c`](https://github.com/hutiefang76/seatunnel/actions/runs/40191666070)
did run. It stopped before unit/IT execution: [Python
setup](https://github.com/hutiefang76/seatunnel/actions/runs/40191666070/job/121163765394)
could not install 3.11.0 on Ubuntu 26.04, [CI-tools
compilation](https://github.com/hutiefang76/seatunnel/actions/runs/40191666070/job/121163765581)
failed at Lombok initialization, and the [existing IRIS
link](https://github.com/hutiefang76/seatunnel/actions/runs/40191666070/job/121163765535)
 returned 404.

Those gates have already-merged upstream fixes in #12964 and #12965, so I
merged `dev` (`7604a83e`) into this branch. The PR delta remains the original
five JDBC source/test/doc files; it adds no workflow or dependency patch. On
new head `0fa7040c`, Spotless and the default root verify passed, as did all
four catalog unit tests and the real PostgreSQL 18.6 two-database regression
(one test, zero failures/errors/skips). The PR description now separates these
fresh results from the earlier full-suite evidence and corrects the
#12875/#12938 history.

   The [new-head
Build](https://github.com/hutiefang76/seatunnel/actions/runs/40193561810)
started automatically after the push. Its final CI result is still pending.

AI-assisted follow-up (Codex and DeepSeek); the linked logs and local
commands were checked/executed.
