Updated at `0700050d7d1ee500d5e1953ba524beb9b278facd` after tracing the previous-head CI failures and merging `dev` at `4f5e32937402c03c35d62a7a9167172e38cc707e`. Fresh terminal zombies retain immediate cleanup, while partial cleanup retries are bound to the captured cleanup generation so they cannot bypass a successor's retention. The restore fixture now publishes its real durable owner; the logging assertion handles the preceding server test's stopped logging context. Existing failover tests preserve their workload and assertions while observing recovery during blocking master shutdown. The final patch passed independent source review, scoped Spotless, and whitespace checks. Local runtime tests were not run; exact-head GitHub CI remains required.
