Martin Desruisseaux resolved SIS-32.
------------------------------------
    Resolution: Won't Fix

We started to create a {{sis-gdal}} module in Apache SIS 0.7, but are planning
to remove it in SIS 1.1 because development moved to an external project at
least for the PROJ part (see SIS-510 for more information). Binding to GDAL are
still desirable, but it is not clear yet if we would do it in Apache SIS or in
the external project cited by SIS-510. Furthermore by the time we start doing
this work, JEP such as [JEP 191: Foreign Function
Interface|http://openjdk.java.net/jeps/191] may change the plan. A new issue
will be created when this time will come, with new plan.

> We already have the ability to load data into SIS from GeoRSS, let's grab the
> ability to do the same thing by integrating the work going on in TIKA-605 to
> integrate Tika and GDAL. This should allow SIS to read data into pretty much
> all the major geospatial formats.
