Artur Wronski commented on WICKET-1647:
---------------------------------------
When fixing it maybe we can add a date pattern in constructor like in the
org.apache.wicket.datetime.PatternDateConverter
It would be very useful.
> SqlTimestampConverter drops the date portion of a Timestamp

> Project: Wicket
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: wicket
> Affects Versions: 1.3.1, 1.3.2, 1.3.3, 1.4-M1
> Environment: Any
> Reporter: Flavius
> Assignee: Johan Compagner
>
> When SqlTimestampConverter#convertToString is called, it formats the
> Timestamp with DateFormat.SHORT,
> which returns only the time portion of the Timestamp. Since a Timestamp
> represents an instant in history,
> information is being lost.
> The Date and Time should be be returned.
