Need to make sure that Guava objects aren't in use in "public" APIs, where
public includes those bits of the private APIs which are actually needed to
produce working code. There's a lot in YARN, and historically large bits of
Hadoop common
[~grey] based on protobuf experience, I woudn't trust any google lib to have
backwards compatibility. Think very hard about that before adopting grpc in any
of your own code
