No problem with this as a followup; I just do want us to fix that version in so
that we don't get randomness. I don't even know why/where the search for the
2.3-SNAPSHOT is coming from (i.e. where is the pom which is triggering this
message being picked up). But at least it's not actually being included in the
binaries as of now.
