Thanks for the review Chen! I'm a fan of defensive programming but I think in
this case, the {{RemoteIterator#next()}} Javadoc states:
{code}
* @return the next element in the iteration.
* @throws NoSuchElementException iteration has no more elements.

implying that a NSEE should be thrown rather than a null. If an implementation
returns {{null}} as a valid "element in the iteration", that's clearly an
underlying bug and I think I would rather not ignore it (basically, failure
promotion rather than masking). Let me know if you disagree.
