This is a really good piece of work.
-1 to any shading going on in the hadoop-azure module. The use of the new lib
should be explicit, callers given the option to omit& fall back, if possible.
Where I do want shading to go in is HADOOP-15387, which proposes a shaded JAR
of the cloud stores, so things like Hive and Spark has less transitive pain. If
you want to take that up, it'd be where the SSL JAR would be shaded.
Minor
* args in the assertEquals/assertNotEquals assertions seem to be the wrong way
round
