Thomas Marquardt commented on HADOOP-15669:
-------------------------------------------

I attached patch 04.  These are minor changes to 03.  I will wait for Yetus and
if all looks good then commit, unless I receive additional feedback.
 # renamed the key "fs.azure.ssl.channel.mode"
 # cleaned up SSL socket factory initialization
 # cleaned up the User-Agent modifications and added test cases
 # reformatted SSLSocketFactoryEx.java to comply with 80 character per line
requirement
 # alphabetized import statements
 # removed unreferenced code

All tests pass with fs.azure.scale.test.enabled = true for both WASB and ABFS
against my storage account in the US:

Tests run: 263, Failures: 0, Errors: 0, Skipped: 11

> We see approximately 50% worse throughput for ABFS over HTTPs vs HTTP.  Lets
> perform a detailed measurement and see what can be done to improve throughput.
