I'm glad this is going in, but can I remind everyone
* every patch needs to come with a declaration that you've tested it against an
endpoint, even if just "private test endpoint"
* every commit needs an official +1 from someone with commit rights for the
branch, which is our store-of-record of the commit being granted.
