[~DanielZhou] - just pushed up latest WiP patch: I've pulled out all the
validation logic so that an object store can do its work at collecting file
statuses &c and then reuse them in the next phase of the operation -removing
the need to repeat those calls.
I'm only intermittently working on this; part of the goal is to help
[~mackrorysd] with his work on HBoss, where having a rename which fails
meaningfully is considered good. If you want to get involved in that work, I'd
welcome it. An abfs binding would help tune that validation code. Tests are
needed here too!
