I was also wondering if it might be worthwhile exploring Jersey 3?? It's far
fetched idea for now, and I don't know how backward compatibility would work b/
Jersey 1 and 3 at this point in time, but if other dependencies keep screwing
things up for us (like the one mentioned above), perhaps we could give Jersey 3
a shot as well(?)
Release notes say it was released on Dec 3, 2020 so it's already been around
for more than a year and that's good
