Karthik Kambatla commented on HADOOP-8891:
------------------------------------------
bq. Are some of these changes (like removal of the renewer) duplicated in your
other jiras? If so, that will cause merge conflicts.
Yes. I created the other JIRAs thinking it would make it easier, but now
realize that there could be conflicts. I was thinking of finishing this one,
and see if anything else needs to be done for the other JIRAs. Otherwise, can
close them out as duplicates.
bq. setDelegationToken is only used by the renewer you are removing, so it
should be removed.
{{TestHttpFSWithKerberos}} calls {{setDelegationToken()}} on all these
filesystems. I am trying to figure out if there is any way around it, short of
removing the tests.
> Remove DelegationTokenRenewer and its logic from WebHdfsFileSystem and
> HftpFileSystem
