We definitely want to make the tutorial so it is Apache centric and not Yahoo!
centric. I think it is fine to include some of the cool things that different
groups are doing with Hadoop too. But me being at Yahoo! makes it kind of hard
to really talk about what others are doing.
In the section on YARN I think it is good to indicate that it is in 2.X, but
not 1.x. Just to get around the old numbering that we are still recovering
from.
What does the future hold? I see a lot more application types running on YARN.
