Allen Wittenauer updated HADOOP-12257:
--------------------------------------
    Attachment: HADOOP-12257.HADOOP-12111.03.patch

-03:
* address doc issues
* address shellcheck issues
* rename 'eclipse' to 'mvneclipse' in a few places so that everything lines up
* remove eclipse CLI option since we don't actually do anything with it
* fix a bug with multijdkmode in the compile cycle (i.e., rename javac to
compile in the multijdklist so that it knows it should multijdk lol)
* move some options that tend to clean from postcompile to rebuild

bq. Not really a part of htis change, but can personalities turn this off for
e.g. projects that don't use or care to support eclipse?

So the answer is effectively yes. Two ways:
* use the delete_test routine somewhere convenient
* don't queue any modules

The latter causes an 'empty' +1 for the test. We should probably rig up a
routine for the personality to specifically delete tests prior to precheck
though.

> rework build tool support; add gradle; add scala

> We need to rework build tool support to be pluggable as well as add gradle
> support so that we cover more of the ecosystem.
