http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=14983 GenericObjectPool should allow for manual population of the pool ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-10 19:52 ------- Uh, I'm a bit confused about this request. The original posting by [EMAIL PROTECTED] is quite reasonable and small (manual population of a pool via an addNewObject() method), but then Jeff Varszegi's posting is a long list of possible improvements to commons-pool. I have a need for an addNewObject() method, and I've even written one and will attach it here as a PATCH. Can we perhaps split Jeff's posting out into a separate bug report (or perhaps several individual reports), so that these separate things do not get so mushed together, and so that the addObject PATCH proposed here gets serious consideration? Thanks. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
