GenericObjectPool should allow for manual population of the pool

And I meant to add to that last post:

This is one of the nice things about the current method signature: "void 
addObject();".  It still forces the client to obtain the added object via the 
borrowObject interface.  addObject(Object) is a little more dangerous in that 
way, since it is possible for the client to use the added object without 
obtaining it from the pool.
