Can anyone from Axis2 comment if this works for them? I tried it out with every URI combo we have and it works great. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't leaving A2 in a lurch.

As to the bug - I don't think it was handling file urls correctly in some cases. But the URI class though seems to know what to do with everything and does it well! Also, the reason I really like it is that the code is quite a bit simpler now.
