This immediately became a stand-alone project in the department’s workplan for 2017 and 2018. This is the progress to date; 1. All news and announcements are now available both in English and French as a standard 2. The AFRINIC Constitution is now available in English, French and Arabic 3. We have AFRINIC factsheets on Policy, Membership and General information available in English and French 4. The AFRINIC Registration Services Agreement is already available in English and French but is currently being revised owing to recent amendments and should be ready in April 2018 5. A new AFRINIC website that will be immediately available in English and French has been in the works since October 2017 and is currently at testing stage. The website has been 100% translated and we expect to launch this website by April 2018 and both communication and IT departments are working overtime to have this ready 6. We are currently working on French translation for AFRINIC Consolidated Policy Manual, Call for Hosting AFRINIC and AIS Meetings and the Annual Report 2017 which will all be ready in April 2018. Whereas English remains AFRINIC’s official language of doing business, all communications, information and documents from AFRINIC shall be available in English and French as from April 2018, with future plans for Arabic and Portuguese. Cher Christophe, Depuis octobre 2017, le département de Communications de l’AFRINIC s’est engagé à produire des contenus bilingues pour répondre aux besoins de la communauté. Cela est devenu instantanément un projet à part entière dans le département et fait partie du plan de travail 2017 et 2018. Voici l’état d’avancement du projet : 1. Toutes les nouvelles et les annonces sont maintenant disponibles en anglais et en français. 2. Les statuts de l’AFRINIC sont disponibles en anglais, en français et en arabe. 3. Nos fiches d'information sur les politiques de gestion des ressources internet, le processus d’adhésion à l’AFRINIC et les informations générales sur l’AFRINIC sont disponibles en anglais et en français. 4. Notre contrat de service a aussi été traduit mais la nouvelle version ne sera disponible en français et en arabe qu’a partir d’avril 2018. 5. Un nouveau site web de l’AFRINIC qui sera disponible en anglais et en français est en préparation depuis octobre 2017 et est actuellement en phase de test. Le site a été traduit à 100% et nous prévoyons de lancer ce site prochainement et le département Communications ainsi que le département Informatique font le maximum pour que le site soit prêt en avril 2018. 6. Nous travaillons actuellement sur la traduction du manuel des politiques de l'AFRINIC en français, le document sur l'appel à candidatures pour les réunions de l’AFRINIC et l’AIS et le rapport annuel 2017. Ces documents seront prêts en avril 2018. Bien que l'anglais reste la langue officielle de l'AFRINIC, toutes les communications, informations et documents de l'AFRINIC seront disponibles en anglais et en français à partir d'avril 2018, avec des projets futurs pour l'arabe et le portugais.
