Noah, The Nomcom are on a tough gig as Mark says. It maybe wasn’t their fault not to get more candidates.
I know quite a few very qualified and good and reputable candidates who would love to stand and give leadership to Afrinic. But those people don’t want to touch it given the state Afrinic is in right now. Kind regards. Ben. The bylaws and election process when read in entirely only affect slates with a single candidate not slates with more than one candidate and as such for the western African seat, the candidate with most votes won and must be declared. but they certainly can run better elections.
