I just tried it. Works great. I posted a reply back to james-user through
the news server, and it appeared both on the mailing list and the newsgroup.
I like. :-)
Can we broaden this for all ASF lists, and publish this as news.apache.org?
Or is there a concern over the number of simultaneous connections? One
problem with NNTP (and IMAP) is that news readers tend to stay connected,
whereas SMTP transports the message to some other server and disconnects.
If there isn't a technical obstacle, I'm +1.
