Please don't feel the need to disclaim your experience - those of us who went to university were all students once too ;-) In fact, those people I met in uni who found the technology fun and enjoyable, were significantly better off just 2-3 years down the line, than those who were just there for something to do.. or not to do (UK students seem to suffer from the latter)! I've found many of your posts filled with nuggets of inspirational ideas, and I'd hate to think that yourself, or anyone else would not post an idea or question because they were afraid to look stupid or inexperienced due to aggressive 'policing' of the list. OpenMoko = Open. Whether it's for ethical or pragmatic reasons, whether you can solder your own circuit boards with your teeth, or whether you have to get out a manual to figure out how to hold the TV remote properly..
