are these "usage times" with finger or with stylys ? or is there even a "big" difference on usage when you use (clean) fingers or stylys ? (but there is a big difference if you drag your finger/stylys or just press) im just curious cause i would use only fingers with the neo, as using stylys is somewhat "slow" ( i regularly loose my palmvx stylys ;) my palmvx screen looks like new (after many years), BUT thats highly cause the programs (i use) are mostly "press a button" only (and i scroll with the hardware buttons). but the character recognition area on my palmvx is _very_ used! so, yes, im concerned too about the display screen usage as we most likely will drag our finger/stylys alot on the neo display screen... btw. how thick transparent material (plastic/glass) can you put on top of the screen and still be able to "touch the screen" ? (i assume it depends on how flexible the transparent material is) cheers andre ps. the old palmvx is the only touchscreen device that i ever had and i never had a cellphone. and as a big fan of open source, im VERY anxious to get a neo1973 :) _______________________________________________ OpenMoko community mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
