That's really broken behaviour, and as a safety measure I strongly recommend users of gmail accounts to refraint from further posting to openmoko.org lists, and to take up this cause with the google mail administrators. As a further explanation why we didn't detect this first: None of the OpenMoko project members notices/noticed this problemn, since we all use cyrus-imapd which automatically discards duplicate message-id's when delivering mails into their respective mailboxes.
