It'd be nice if Gartner stated the obvious -- instead, they show an incredible closed-source bias, and refuse to admit the possibility of the success of any open source (let alone free) project until they've been bludgeoned over the head with it. IIRC it was last year that they concluded Linux might be ready to be considered for server applications.
