I also use SHR and installed the pygame and libsmpeg packages from http://rabenfrost.net/celtune/ipk/armv4t/ (without changing the sources.list) The app works and it also seems that it didn't brake anything. Generally, I made the experience that installing single packages from the celtune repository is quite compatible with the SHR distribution.
