Sometimes it's needed to try connect more times. It is also possible to test if it works without multiplexing - multiplexing can be enabled/disabled in NeoControl application. It will take effect after restart. Otherwise you can try to enable logging - and log category "Modem AT commands" and send the log here (it's in /var/log/messages).
