Hi All, I want to hack a bit on the Wolfson sound chip. The ultimate goal is to make a FR to FR modem conection, using the GSM voice band. But the first step would be to generate a sine wave and feed it to the wolfson chip.
I know i can use the alsa driver, but i would like to experiment a bit by addressing the hardware directly. Does anyone have pointers on how to address the hardware and its registers etc? I want to write the program in C and need a starting point. Example programs would be great, but all help is welcome! Kind regards, Ed
