Dear Opencast community,
We are planning a full day Opencast workshop on June 13th, 2011 in Los
Angeles, California. Please mark your calendars - we hope that many of
you will be able to attend!
The workshop is being held as a pre-conference workshop to the Sakai
Conference, but participants will also be free to register for the
Opencast workshop as a standalone event. More information will be coming
shortly, but the general format will be a half day Opencast Matterhorn
bootcamp, followed by a 1/2 day exploring innovations, integrating and
extending Matterhorn, and the roadmap for Matterhorn 2.0. If you have
suggestions for what you'd like to see in an Opencast workshop, please
share on the list!
For those organizations who are using Sakai, we also encourage you to
submit a proposal to the 2011 Sakai Conference - Open Opportunities |
Endless Possibilities. The deadline for presentations is April 3.

If you are considering a proposal focusing on integration of Opencast
Matterhorn with Sakai, please let me know and we can try to collaborate
on this topic with other schools that are doing the same.
