Dear All Complementary to the Opencast event in Los Angeles, we will host a Matterhorn workshop at the 2011 DIVERSE conference in Dublin, Ireland June 27th. We would like to make this an opportunity for the European community members to get their feed wet with Matterhorn and convene for a community event - and the DIVERSE conference (http://diverse2011.dcu.ie/welcome.html).
Likewise, the event is organized as a pre-conference workshop on Monday, June 27, probably in the afternoon (depending on your feedback). You can book this workshop as part of the DIVERSE conference registration for a small additional fee and with the call for papers closing this Thursday March 31st, you might want to consider submitting a paper also (cf. http://diverse2011.dcu.ie/authorsonlinesubmissions.html). The workshop will introduce to the Opencast Community and Opencast Matterhorn shortly, to focus on a product demonstration and hands-on work with Matterhorn and the capture agent especially (http://diverse2011.dcu.ie/programmesmasterclasses.html). Rüdiger Rolf from the University of Osnabruck and Olaf A. Schulte from ETH Zurich will be there to organize the workshop, but contributions from your end are welcome, either during the workshop or as part of the DIVERSE conference. Looking forward to seeing you in Dublin! Regards Opencast Matterhorn Olaf A.
