On January 31, sixty-five people converged upon Oxford University to spend 2 days sharing, learning, and collaborating around Opencast Matterhorn, as well as contributing to the future of the project. Using a modified unconference format, participants collectively set the agenda during the meeting, resulting in an engaging and productive balance of structured presentations and spontaneous conversations.

As a community and a young project, we were thrilled at the level of interest shown by the number of attendees, as well as the enthusiasm and engagement demonstrated by all. A huge thank you to our hosts at the Oxford University Computing Centre, and to conference sponsors Entwine, Koemei, Longsight and Teltek!

     Session Recordings

Many of the sessions were recorded and are available here - opencast.org/video/opencast-matterhorn-2012-unconference-recordings. Recording services were provided and managed by Teltek.

Photos from the conference also available in the Opencast Flickr site - http://www.flickr.com/photos/opencastproject/sets/72157629235518839 (let me know if you have more to add to the collection!)
