Hello everybody: I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the attendants for the great and productive encounter we had in Oxford. Specially to the "soul" of the Unconference, Michelle, but also to those who participated in organizing and making it become a success: Olaf, Andy, Brian (who unfortunately couldn't attend), Rúdiger, Mara, Judy... and I hope I'm not missing anybody! (sorry if I do). Special thanks to Carl who gave us the technical support for installing our Galicaster device and was there to ensure things were working, even in the most desperate moments :-)
Thanks, too, to all those who participated in a Lightning Talk, presentation, round table, etc. I wouldn't expect how many initiatives are sprouting around Matterhorn and it's really exciting to see with my own eyes how many people is seeing Matterhorn's potential and developing their own pilots or installations. That's scary, too, since that puts a lot of responsibility on the community's shoulders and if expectations are to high, we may not live up to them. But that thought should encourage us to push forward and, as one of the MH mottos say, "reach new heights". Last but not least, recording (some of) the sessions was a great challenge and a responsibility but we are quite content with the result. But that may as well be self-indulgence, so please do not hesitate to share your opinions on the recordings. Either good and bad, all criticism is appreciated. Thanks in advance for your input. And, on a personal note, it was really exciting to meet in person, at last, many of those people I've been working with for almost two years and seeing on a computer screen on a weekly basis. It was a pleasure to shake hands with Tobias, Adam (H. and M.), Greg, Olaf, Matjaz, Judy, Rüdiger, Markus, and a long *et cetera*. You don't only make it worth to be part of the community --you also make it fun. Looking forward to meeting you again in the near future!
