In theory such an http://www.hwtools.net/Adapter/PE4L.html PE4L or similar PCIe extender product should also work with an HDMI capture card like the Blackmagic Intensity Pro. This would also allow laptops with an ExpressCard slot to allow such capture cards. A custom enclosure would be needed though since the construction seems quite fragile.
