While I was examining the ImgTec and MIPS Web sites now that they are separate
entities again, I stumbled across this blog post from almost exactly three
years ago:

https://www.imgtec.com/blog/our-powervr-graphics-sdk-is-now-on-github/

The GitHub repositories are still fairly active, it would appear. For example:

https://github.com/powervr-graphics/Native_SDK

I mention this because some of the documentation might also be present in the
repository above, and there is also code that is MIT-licensed. I cannot say
whether this adds any more pieces to the puzzle.

P.S. I was also amused by one of the comments responding to someone suggesting
that ImgTec might embrace Free Software. How wonderful it was to have "90% of
their valuation" from Apple, so why bother cooperating with any kind of
community? Well, we all know how well that turned out, business genius!
