I got the same (see error further down). Everything was superslick and
running beautifully till near the end. I verfied I entered the right sudo
password. I manually installed deserty (sudo gem install desert) and ran
again, and it looks like it was successful. Tests seems to run moslty OK
(community_engine:test has 12 errors- haven't look closely yet).
Awesome install process. Haven't looked at the app yet, but I love the
philosophy and see much more activity here then with the other social
network options on rails.
