I've seen some good suggestions from others. If you have more than one
bootable disk, see if that makes any difference.
If your SE has never been upgraded past 1 MB, don't try running System 7
on it -- Apple specifies that System 7.x requires at least 2 MB of RAM.
Well, it doesn't always need that much, but it does need more than 1 MB
of memory.
