A router will work, but if you already have a peecee set up to do that, you
might as well not spend the money on a router and just give the Mac a
static IP, which will work fine.

It's sort of a self-contained version of the WWW. Hyperlinks - links that,
when clicked, would take you somewhere else - were *not* Tim Berners-Lee's
doing :)
Play around with it a bit and you'll get an idea of what it can do.
