Wait a second. And I get ripped on for telling people to see the FAQ? I
think there's an apology that needs to be made here, and it's not to Jeff...
If someone has a set of System disks they want to sell, well, that's
perfectly fine. It was a reasonable request.
If someone wants to make him a set of disks and send them to him for the
cost of postage, that's fine too. I don't think Apple is going to care one
way or another, and as far as I'm concerned, if they do, they can stick it
up their arse.
Without a definition of reasonable, I don't see anything possible wrong
with his request for an idea of where to get CCs. eBay is actually a lot
cheaper than it used to be, and the LEM-Swap list (see the LEM Lists page
for details) isn't too ridiculous either. What's ridiculous is these
people in my local classified ads selling a P637 for $250...
