Thanks for your help/suggestions (and the pickle too!)
I will try erasing the disk on the Mac first... I
hadn't tried that yet and it sounds like a good idea.
As for the SE/30, it's running System 6.0.8 for now...
I was thinking of going to System 7, but it currently
only has 1MB of RAM. I believe I need at least 4mb to
go to System 7, right? Not a big deal, though, I
noticed 30 pin 4mb Simms are around $7 a piece, so I
was thinking of just buying 8 and taking it up to
32mb. I'd just need to add Mode32...
Can I upgrade the OS on a Mac without losing other
apps that I currently have installed? I currently
have Word 4 as well as a version of Wordperfect on the
drive that I do not have on disk anywhere and would
like to keep... I guess thats been my other big hang
up causing me to drag my feet on upgrading the OS!
