Heya,

I had the HDD go dead in my CC. I booted it using an external HDD with
system 7.5.3 (freshly installed). Using Lido 7.5.6 I checked the SCSI bus
and found the drive at ID=0 to be unreadable. To be exact, the error
messages were...

unable to read drive capacity
<clicked OK>
OSErr=5 Bas SCSI Command: phase error
<clicked OK>
OSErr=5 Bas SCSI Command: phase error
<clicked OK>

The software returns to the main Lido screen with nothing listed in the ID=0
slot.

>From here I swapped in a 575 motherboard. I included system enabler 040 and
065 v1.1 as I believe these are required by the new motherboard. Upon
booting this system (still with the external HDD) I got a bomb with a "Bus
error" message telling me that I can hold down a few buttons to turn off
extensions. I tried this and still had the bomb from a "bus error"

Your mission, should you chose to accept it, is to help me!! This message
will not self-desctruct.

Thanks.
