Does everyone comply on this point? I need total piece of mind that my
pursuit to eradicate the dodgy version of Mode32 will render some users
of older system versions unable to use Mode32. I have 7.5 on my SE/30
(20MB RAM) and it works in 7.1, 7.1.2 and 7.5.3.

So in other words I was right to inform them and I am right to try and
eradicate this evil beast. However I doubt, from what you say about
UMICH, that they will remove it or update it, which is a shame.
