Well, I suppose I could have offered less (it was a "make an offer" stack of
things), but I am admittedly not the world's greatest "bargainer".

But - granted my horse-trading skills may not be all that good - I do think
I'm a fairly good *finder* of deals: I recently picked up a Daystar
Powercache (yes, the flat one that plugs into the CPU in the SE/30
logicboard, leaving the PDS slot open for other things, like - hopefully - a
MacCon NIC and Xceed card) for $50 (and from what I've seen these things go
for on eBay, I tend to think that THAT was a pretty good price).

(Doubtless there's going to be some post now about "being paid to take one
of these away". Sigh.)
