No - it's specifically a mod that the Takky crew strongly advise 
against, as it ups the voltage through a lot of components that have a 
finite life and CC a/bs are too precious to risk the P1 tweak IMHO.

Since we recommend starting at 1nF (1000pF) - see 
http://www.stuartbell.dsl.pipex.com/PowerCC/PCC2.html, I'm amazed 
anything happened.

You should start with 1000pf, and possibly have a 2000pF one ready. They 
are not stocked widely, but can be sourced.

IMHO the first thing to do is to set P1 back to its original value.
