I googled for this info, but didn't find anything conclusive... Will the LC520 accept EDO RAM?
I'd like to put a 32MB chip in the slot, but all I've got around here is EDO chips... Incidentally, there's only one slot for RAM on board, so it must accept a 32MB chip to max out memory. But the LC575 has two slots - but it, too, can only be maxed out to 36MB. Which means it does not accept 32MB chips. Why would Apple do this, deliberately limit the size of chips it would accept?
