Again, it's a homemade attempt to put both an internal/external grayscale monitor card AND an ethernet card into the same PDS slot, using a homemade ((?) - What is a "DiMO" board? Am I wrong about the splitter being homemade?) splitter/adapter board. But from what I can tell, the creator stressed that the idea was to make it completely installable/removable without any permanent modification to the original hardware. Since the back of the SE/30 case only has one hole/bracket for an expansion card, the guy took the external portion of the ethernet adapter, put it in a homemade plastic shell, and taped that to the back of the SE/30's case.
